9 August 2011, London roits. An extra 1,700 police officers were deployed in London, where shops were looted and buildings were set alight. The prime minister has returned early from his holiday to discuss the unrest, which first flared on Saturday after a peaceful protest in Tottenham over the fatal shooting of a man by police. At least 400 people have been arrested following a wave of "copycat criminal activity" across London over the past three days, the Met Police said. More than 69 people have been charged with various offences. (BBC News, 2011) And what reasons are leading to such a thing?


First of all, lack of parental control of individuals. The primary school is the most important thing to the children because it affects the develop and character of children. The parents good behaviors are also important to their children. Most of child take their parents as their hero, and child always like imitate parents behaviros. Therefore, parents should aviod some bad behaviours.

Secondly, poverty is also a key factor that can be lead to a person`s involvement in crime. The panel recommends that efforts are made to improve young people`s resistance to the peer pressure that leads them astray(The Guardian, 2012). A poverty wage in London is also shrinking, its debilitating effects on parents and children in poverty.It damages nutrition, an essential ingredient of healthy babies and a good education, which is likewise ignored. Parliament needs to wake up to the fact that the current system of social security is not fit for purpose. There will continue to be impoverished young people who, because survival and inequality are massive issues in this very expensive economy, will turn to crime.

The final part is racial discrimination. Racial discrimination is easy come into being diaphragm between different colour people, and to move forward a single step come into being contradiction, and break out conflict. Therefore, the laws against racial discrimination at work cover every part of employment. This includes recruitment, terms and conditions, pay and benefits, status, training, promotion and transfer opportunities, right through to redundancy and dismissal. It is in order to aviod riots.

As can be seen, there are three factors can cause the roit. Of course, it also has some another reasons that can cause riot. It may be argue that snatch the resources in the future. Therefore, in order to aviod this situation happened, the government should developing new resources.
