The Welfare System and the NHS

We talked about the NHS - the advantages and the drawbacks of the system. How does this compare with the health system in your country?


The Welfare system isn't only about the NHS, it's about providing for those people who are in need because of unemployment, sickness, homelessness and so on. How does this system work in your country? What are the similarities and differences?



The National Health Service (NHS) is the shared name of three of the four publicy funded healthcare systems in the United Kingdom. They are primarily funded through general taxation rather than requiring insurance payments.  First, let we know what the significance about the health insurance. It includes six parts:
1. Uninsured people receive less medical care and less timely care.
2. Uninsured people have worse health outcomes.
3. Lack of insurance is a fiscal burden for uninsured people and their families.
4. The benefits of expanding coverage outweigh the costs for added services
5. afety-net care from hospitals and clinics improves access to care but does not fully substitute for health insurance.
6. Cautions are appropriate in using these findings.



The health insurance takes many welfare to people, it is very significance to our society.
And relative to China, it is also a very important and necessary to chinese. China is a developing country, many systems are haltingly, and included health insurance, the big difference between China and UK is that it is free in UK but it is not in China. Of course, it has own charactristics, and the health insurance are divide into five parts. There are:

Follow the economic developing, a great number people buy health insurance. If someone is unemployment or homelessness, the government will help them, ensure them have a basic guarantee.
